How to check your CS2 inventory value
An inventory total is only useful when you know what it measures. SkinRate uses reference prices to estimate items; it does not promise a cash payout or a buyer for the complete inventory.

The market snapshot contains 20,512 priced item names. Example basket:

Check an inventory step by step
Open the inventory checker and paste the Steam profile link or sign in through Steam. A profile lookup needs an accessible inventory. If data cannot be loaded, distinguish a private inventory or temporary lookup error from an empty inventory.
Check that the item count makes sense. Review the exact names, exteriors, StatTrak or Souvenir status and quantities. An item without a matching price should remain unknown, rather than being interpreted as worthless.
What the example basket teaches
The example table below multiplies a few exact market names by their quantities using data/market.json. It demonstrates the arithmetic and source coverage; it is not a real user's inventory. The snapshot includes suggested values where listings are unavailable.
A displayed total is before your actual sale fees, payment costs or currency conversion. Steam wallet balance and withdrawable money are different things. Compare a proposed sale using the net amount you will actually receive, not two unrelated headline totals.
Items that need individual inspection
Doppler phases, rare Case Hardened seeds, unusually low floats and valuable sticker placements can need a manual comparison. The market-name snapshot can group variants together and cannot verify every collector premium. A generic estimate is a starting point, not an appraisal.
Do not add the full unused sticker price to a skin that already has that sticker applied. Buyers evaluate placement, condition and demand for the combined item. Keep public inventory links separate from account credentials, and never share a Steam password, API key or recovery code to obtain a valuation.
FAQ
Is the inventory estimate what I can withdraw?
No. It is a reference total before actual sale conditions and fees, not a cash offer. Confirm the net amount on the platform where you sell.
Why can rare items be undervalued by a checker?
A generic market-name price may not represent a particular pattern, phase, float or sticker craft. Those attributes require item-level comparison.
